My Life and Lips Shall Praise You, LORD!

Genuine, loving interaction with people created in the image of God is pretty important in the day in which we live.  There is a lot of complaining and a great lack of compassion in our world.  The psalmist asks, “Who will show us any good?”  The response comes back:  “LORD lift up the light of Your countenance upon us” (Psalm 4:6).  I’m burdened that people know that the relationship I have with the LORD drives me.  It doesn’t make me happy to pretend to have a transformed, confident life!  But how wonderful it is when His lovingkindness is actually better than life (Psalm 63:3)!
