The mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but the
love of God shall never fail us (Isa
54.10). He is a Sun and
Shield giving grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who
walk uprightly (Ps 84.11). Paul asks, “What do we have that we didn’t
first receive?” And if you received it
from the hand of God, it really is quite pointless to act as if you did not (1 Cor 4.7). God’s love and blessings come to us in spite
of what we do and who we are. This will
never change. Do you really believe you
are powerful enough to separate yourself from the love of God (Rom 8.35, 39)? Do you really believe anyone or anything is
able to do the same?
