Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am
your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with
My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah
41:10) He is our God and we are His people. Fear and anxiety point us toward the character of God ...His love and compassion for His own. We
live in a cruel, calloused world. People
will not help one another if they don't have some kind of relationship already. Even then, it is difficult. But a good
husband and father will help his wife and children if they are in danger. How much more so will God fight for us. He will not allow anyone to harm the apple
of His eye. He cares for us. He will protect us.
