Don't Be Afraid!

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10)  We have reasons to fear.  If not, why are we told, “Don’t be afraid!” so many times in Scripture.  The numbers of people against us are overwhelming.  The world system is energized by our greatest enemy, the devil himself.  False teachers “speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error” (2 Peter 4.18).  Our own flesh-nature is a great enemy.  Who can stand?  Those who find strength in God …those helped by Him …those upheld by His righteous right hand.
