“Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to
come in, that my house may be filled” (Luke 14.23). As we seek to lead the lost to Christ, we
hear a lot of excuses. Financial and
family matters are mentioned in this context.
It really is crazy that these excuses keep people from accepting an
invitation to be with Christ forever.
This stirs the wrath of God (see 14.21).
But there still is room in His house, and He wants it filled. I must look for the needy …those poor and
open to the Gospel. That’s God’s
demographic.
